Mr Hartoyo in his book (2008, 90-91) said that there are five principles in designing and testing call program. There are Interactivity, usability, flexibility, effectiveness and performance. Interactivity refers to stimulate interaction; usability refers to the flexibility; content appropriateness refers to the mount material presented in the program; effectiveness refers to how effectively the program to improve their mastery of grammar; and performance refers to presentation, lay out, color, and illustrations used in the program.

The first CD : Learn English – talk now (beginners)

:: Interactivity
This CD is very interactive because it was designed by the program planning. We can look at this CD googor not by giving good example and illustration.

:: Usability
There are 9 simple topics that is given with the pictures so it makes easy for the beginner learners especially the elementary student.

:: Content appropriateness
The menus that is offered this CD are suitable with beginners students because related to vocabularies. The learners can follow the material perfectly because the contents are not only given in the form of words but also with the picture that make the children easy to learn. There are also games to make interesting for the children.

:: Effectiveness
The effectiveness for this CD is can improve the skill of the students because they can practice directly by using this CD. In addition, we conclude that this CD suitable with the learners want.

:: Performance
The performance of the CD is quite good. It is colourful and easy to use because it can run automatically after we insert the CD into the computer. Each topic has different characteristic and it is supported by the picture that is suitable with the situation.
This CD is good for the beginners who want to increase their skill ability in English, especially increasing vocabulary.

The second CD : Speak English – talk now (intermediate)

:: Interactivity
This CD is an interactive CD because it shows us how the CD can give a lot of menus by interactivity. This is reasonable, because when I was watching this CD, my eyes were freshfull to watch this CD.

:: Usability
The Usability of this CD is how this CD can be used for the learners. By looking this content of CD, we can conclude that this CD is really suitable for the beginners learners.

:: Content appropriateness
The menus that is offered this CD are suitable with beginners students because related to vocabularies. The learners can follow the material perfectly because the contents are not only given in the form of words but also with the picture that make the children easy to learn. There are also games to make interesting for the children.

:: Effectiveness
The effectiveness for this CD is the content of CD shows us that this CD has alot of menus which suitable with beginners students.

:: Performance
The performance of the CD is colourful and easy to use because it can run automatically after we insert the CD into the computer. Each topic has different characteristic and it is supported by the picture that is suitable with the situation.
:: Summary
For evaluation, I think tis CD still need instructions to help the learners understand about how should the learners do perfectly. Generally, this CD is good one as an interactive CD.

:: The third CD : Fun Learning (English words)

:: Interactivity

The interactivity of this CD is it can easy and enjoy to learn because it gives the learners games for learning. It is able to increase the skill of learners by having interactive materials.

:: Usability

The usability of this CD is the menu which is offered to the learners to select which one they want. And also, all of menus are quite good.

:: Content appropriateness

The content appropriates of this CD is The program for age three to eleven years or beginners learners. There are three stages are suitable for elementary students.

:: Effectiveness

The effectiveness of this CD is the program can be multi-functioned, because the learners can learn english and play games. Indirectly, the learners enjoy by learning with games. We recommend that this CD shoul spread for every children who want to learn and play.

:: Performance

The performance of this CD is very good. Learning vocabulary by showing games performance is a very unique way to guide learners. In addition, pictures and design performance of this CD are quite good.

 

::The fourth CD : Fun Learning (Vocabulary)

:: Interactivity

The interactivity of this CD is it gives the learners new situation when start to watch the CD because this CD is very interactive. Some menus guides us to select game-menu but actually not game, that is learning material.

:: Usability

The usability of this CD is the menu can be used for the learners who want to learn English. Especially, this CD is suitable for the beginners students.

:: Content appropriateness

The content appropriates of this CD is The program for age three to eleven years or beginners learners. There are three stages are suitable for elementary students.

:: Effectiveness

The effectiveness of this CD is the program can be multi-functioned, because the learners can learn english and play games. Indirectly, the learners enjoy by learning with games. We recommend that this CD shoul spread for every children who want to learn and play.
